At Quiverfull Childcare Centre, we understand the financial challenges that can come with providing quality childcare. To assist families, we participate in Alberta’s new $15-a-Day Childcare Program and the Canada-Alberta Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement (CACWELCC), which offers significant financial support to eligible families.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Major changes to Alberta’s childcare funding took effect on April 1, 2025. Here’s how these changes benefit families and ensure your child receives the best care possible.
Full-Time Care (100+ hours per month):

Preschool Programs:
ENDED: The Child Care Subsidy program for children zero to kindergarten age attending childcare during school hours ended on March 31, 2025.
CONTINUED: The Child Care Subsidy program for children in full-day kindergarten to Grade 6 enrolled in licensed out-of-school care (OSC) programs continues unchanged.
If you currently receive Child Care Subsidy for a child zero to kindergarten age, you will automatically transition to the new flat-fee structure. No action is required on your part.
For families with children in out-of-school care (Grades 1-6), your existing subsidy arrangement continues as before, and you can still apply for income-based subsidies.
